The popular coming-of-age series American-born Chinese actor Ben Wang is going to lead the new generation Karate Kid movie. The young actor was considered the best match for the movie. He is affluent in Mandarin, kung fu, taekwondo, and many other martial arts.
The actor is going to be paired with Jackie Chan and OG Ralph Macchio will be seen in the movie. The plot of the movie is also not revealed yet. What can be anticipated from the actor casting is that this time the origin roots of martial arts will be brought back to its home.
A wise yet tough mentor will toughen the kid and help him find his identity. Jonathan Entwistle is directing and Karen Rosenfelt is producing the movie.
