‘Spider-Man’ spinoffs have given viewers a taste of different versions of the same story. The ‘Spider-Man Verse’, ‘Madame Web’ and now Spider-Man Noir all have given fans variations of the magnanimous world of ‘Spider-Man’.
Recently, the ‘Ghost Rider’ actor Nicolas Cage has been in talks for reprising his role as Spider-Man Noir in an anticipated Prime series. It is also said that the series will be a Live-Action.
Silk: Spider Society gets a Green signal for multiple live actions; Spider-Man Noir is first to the List
According to The Ankler, ever since the writer’s strike ended in September last year; the entire stream of new writers has been brought on board. The entire team was gathered in the middle of last January and the development of the ‘Silk: Spider Society’ has been in full swing.
With the greenlight from Amazon, the live-action of Spider-Man Noir is the first on the books. Ankler reported that Nicholas Cage is in serious talks about taking the real-life version of Spider-Man Noir. Earlier Cage voiced for the character in Spider-Man Verse movie.
Not much is known about the plot of the series but as per the comic book, it will set in the Great Depression era around 1930’s in New York.
Angela Kang who happens to be the showrunner is set to bring Cindy Moon. The series will center around a Korean-American woman, Cindy who is bitten by the same spider and is now searching for her family. Chances are that the series might start with a male-centric story with Spider-Man Noir but female-centric stories like Madame Web might bring a change in the plot development.
Both Amazon Prime and Sony were unable to comment. Until the official announcement of the Live-Action series doesn’t come out, the project remains silent. So Marvel folks brace yourselves for a silky impact!!
