A horror series ‘PARASYTE- THE GREY’, is all set to bring out the horrors from a different world. The director of the Korean thriller movie, ‘Train to Busan’ has again brought the horrors of a parasite who is meek in the open, but when attached to its host, becomes powerful.

PARASYTE-THE GREY: Synopsis

Based on a popular manga, this series talks about an alien species that coexists with humans. These parasites take control of the human brain and use them for various purposes like food and shelter. The main protagonist series will have a coexistencial relationship with the parasite who lets her do whatever she wants and understands human nature through her eyes.

The series adapted from a popular anime drama is set to release on Netflix. As the manga, we can anticipate that the K-thriller will have more than eight episodes; which means that the series will have an episodic dropped every weekday or weekend. It is set to release on April 5 and will run till June 2024.

Being a Japanese animation, many manga fans anticipate that the series will have a similar touch to it. The director of PARASYTE, Yeon Sang-ho said in an interview-

Netflix’s Parasyte show will not take place in Japan… rather in Korea..this will help set the Korean adaptation apart from the anime series.

The live-action will completely be based on Korean scenarios and will bring many elements similar to the Japanese series. It is also presumed unlike the manga where the boy and parasite live in harmony; the K-drama will have a different approach.

We will see Jeon So-nee as Jeong Su-in, Koo Kyo-hwan as Seol Kang-woo, Lee Jung-Hyun as Choi Jun-Kyung, Kwon Hae-Hyo as Kim Chul-min, and Kim In-Kwon as Kang Won-Seok. None of the other characters have been disclosed.
